A Brief Bio of the Kansas State Wildcats

The Kansas State Wildcats play in Division I and in the Big Twelve Conference. They play at the Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium in Manhattan Kansas. They competed in the Kansas Collegiate Conference from 1890 to 1912. From 1913 to 1928, they also played in the Big Eight Conference. 1928 to 1947 led the Wildcats to the Big Six Conference.

The team originated in 1893. They have in ninety three years won 299 games and lost 510. 1993 brought their first victory in a Bowl game. They had six top ten finishes and a perfect season in 1998. 2003 brought the Big Twelve Conference and they enjoyed a 35-7 victory over Oklahoma. In 1998, Bill Snyder was known as the National Coach of the Year and won many awards to this effect. He won three times in 1990, 1991, and 1993. Snyder was also named the Big Twelve Conference coach of the year.
