Pittsburgh Penguins: Past and Present

Pittsburgh Penguins is a team of ice hockey players in Pittsburgh. They belong to the Atlantic division of eastern conference of national hockey league. They started off fairly well. The team could not reach the playoffs but performed well. The 1970s were not very good for the team as Michel Briere, one of the leading players was injured. They however managed to get to the playoffs. They however lost in the western conference finals. They performed fairly well in the seasons and they almost reached the semi finals in the year 1975. In 1984 Mario Lemieux was inducted into the team. After a few years Paul Coffey, Kevin Stevens, John Cullen, Tom Barrasso and Rob Brown joined the team.
