Los Angeles Kings: A Brief Biography

After the 1992 Stanley Cup finals, LA Kings eventually went into bankruptcy. It was only in 1995 that Edward Roski and Phillip Anschutz started rebuilding it. After a tough five-year rebuilding period and losing some of their best players, LA Kings, in the 1999-2000 season, finished a spectacular second place in the Pacific Division. Since then, an injury plagued LA Kings have been placed third in the Pacific Division till the 2004 season and fourth in the 2005-2007 seasons. Their present team comprises of remarkable defensemen Jack Johnson and Peter Harold, goaltender Dan Cloutier, forward Brian Boyle and captain Rob Blake.
