Dallas Stars moved to the current home arena, the American Airlines Center in the year 2001-02 and they were successful team both on and off the ice after winning the Stanley Cup in 1999. So far, the stars have won 2 Conference Championships and 7 division titles. The year 2006 saw a lot of changes for the Stars as the former goalkeeper Andy Moog was named as the Assistant General Manager for development of players and Ulf Dahlen wad appointed as the assistant coach. Brenden Morrow took over the captaincy in 20006 from Mike Modano who had captained the side successfully from 2003.
Mike Modano is one of the superstars that the Dallas stars have ever produced and he broke the record of the maximum number of goals held by an American in the 20007 season. The Dallas Stars have used the Star logo on the green, gold, white and green jersey for both home and away matches since its inception in 1993.
