FedEx won with the highest bid and the stadium is now called FedEx Field. Dan Snyder has since turned the Washington Redskins into an admirable revenue generating venture and has spent huge amounts of money on free agents. He has, however, fired numerous head coaches in the process. Washington Redskins are the most valued football team after the Dallas Cowboys, with a value at $1.5 Billion. In total, the Redskins have played 11 NFL Championships, and have won a total of 5 Super Bowls.
