History of the Rams
They became the first team in the NFL to have their logo painted on their helmets when their half back Gehrke Fred painted ram horns on their helmets in 1948. Their first team colors were black and red with red helmets, their black uniforms had red sleeves and shoulders. Since then their uniform colors have been changed a number of times. Last year, during the 2007 season, they used numerous combinations of their team colors for different matches.
The current head coach is Scott Linehan who replaced former head coach, Mike Martz in January 2006. St Louis has won 3 of their League Championships. In 1945 and 1951 they won the (NFL National Football League) championships and tasted grand glory in 1999, when they won Super Bowl XXXIV.
