San Diego Chargers: A Brief History

In 1981, the Chargers, with a 10-6 season, won the AFC West Title. Some of the great members of the team were traded to the San Francisco 49ers. They made it back to the playoffs in 1982 by beating the Steelers, but they wound up losing to the Dolphins. Beginning in 1983 to around 1991, the Chargers started to slide downhill and not be as competitive anymore. 1994 brought them back to the Super Bowl because they had won their first six games. From 1995 to present day, they are working on their attack and may surprise us the next year. They are hard at work on their next season in 2008. They will be contenders for the Super Bowl if they can win more games in the beginning of the season.
