The Interesting History of the Giants
The New York Giants is one of the five teams that officially joined the NFL in 1925. They are the only team of the original five that is still with the NFL today. The New York Football Giants as they were better known; then lost their big home opener game to the Frankford Yellow Jackets. However, they went on to end the same season 8-4. The New York Giants are a member of the Eastern Division of the National Football Conference and they play their home games at Giants Stadium at the Meadowlands Sports Complex.
The New York Giants are a powerhouse when it comes to football with a whooping eight NFL titles to brag about. Four of these were achieved by winning in the pre-Super Bowl era with 1927, 1934, 1938, and 1956 alone. They also won Super Bowls XXI, XXV, and XLII.
