History of the Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts are based in Indianapolis in Indiana. The Indianapolis Colts play professional American football. They are part of the South Division of the American Football Conference in the National Football League. In 1984 the Colts had to be relocated from Baltimore due to various financial and other reasons. They were moved to Indianapolis where they won 90 out of 228 games. The team was taken over by Jim Irsay after his father's death. The team then became the 1st team in the history of league matches to win only 12 games in more than five consecutive seasons.
