A Brief History of the Bengals
The team won the 1st AFC Central Won Divisional Playoffs. They also won the Conference Championship against the Chargers. In 1988 they won against the Seahawks in the AFC Central Divisional Playoffs and against The Bills in the Conference Championship. They defeated the Oilers in the AFC Central Wild Card Playoffs. The team has won some NFL valuable player Awards in Ken Anderson, 1981 and Boomer Esiason in 1988. The team players have also received the AFL/ NFL rookie of the year award. These were Paul Robinson in 1968, Greg Cook in 1969 and Eddie Brown in 1985. The Cincinnati Bengals summer training camp is at the Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky. They sometimes play home games at the Paul Brown Stadium too.
