Tim McGraw Brief History

Louisiana born, Tim McGraw is one of the best known and loved country singers in the US. After cutting a demo single in 1990, McGraw came to the attention of Curb Records. Several weeks after he played the demo tape for Curb executives, they signed him to a recording contract. Two years later he had his first minor hit "Welcome to the Club" from his self-titled debut album. The album failed to make much of a dent on the charts. In 1993 the album generated two additional minor hits, "Memory Lane" and "Two Steppin Mind".
