Rascal Flatts on the Tour Again!
Formed in 2000, Rascal Flatts lineup consists of lead vocalist Gary LeVox, bass guitarist Jay DeMarcus, and guitarist Joe Don Rooney. In that short time, the trio has become country music's premiere young headliner. The group have sold over twelve-million records. Their fourth album, "Me and My Gang", went double-platinum within a week of being released - a nearly unheard of achievement.
Born into a family of talented musicians, second cousins, Gary and Jay, were both raised near Columbus, Ohio. Encouraged to pursue his dreams, Jay headed to Nashville in 1992. There he joined a Christian group called "East to West", landing his first record contract as part of the group. It took five years, but Jay was finally able to convince cousin Gary to quit his state job in Ohio and move to Nashville in 1997.
