Artie Lange Information
Arthur Steven Lange, Jr. well-known as Artie Lange is a film actor in American television. He is a stand-up comedian and a radio icon that is most outstanding in replacing Jackie Martling in The Howard Stern Show. He is also a member of the original casts of MADtv sketch comedy series.
Lange is born in Union, New Jersey last October 11, 1967. His mother is a homemaker and his father is a contractor. Artie Lang's family recognized themselves as Italian-American even though his father's side had German and Native American ancestry. In his school life, Lange excelled in baseball and was the All Country's third basemen. During his free time, he spent working with his father. However, in 1985, his father became quadriplegic because of the damages caused by a fall from a roof and broke his neck. After schooling, he was under arrest because of attempted bank robbery. According to him, he only played a good joke on one of the tellers of the bank, passing a fake hold-up note telling her that he was carrying a weapon and demanded $50,000. Unfortunately, the note had his name on it and the teller prompt the silent alarm for police assistance. As an agreement, his lawyer arranged him for two years of probation and community service for 25 hours.
