History of the Magic

In 1989, a very special team was added to the NBA. As they opened their arms to welcome the rookies as well as the veterans, little did they know that such great feet would end up gracing their floor.

As the Magic played their first game in November, 1989, it was a sad loss for the young team. They fought with zest that can only be seen in youth. Despite the loss, they forged ahead and claimed victory two days later. With rock solid determination, the Orlando Magic dredged on to demonstrate their ability to be considered a top contender when they were declared most improved in the 1990-1991 season.
