The Sox got new life with Yastrzemski as the team went to the 1967 World Series. If the 1970s: The Red Hat Era, then an unforgettable line of defeats and victories followed. The 2000s of The Boston Red Sox are called The Second Golden Era. No wonder ' In 2004, the Sox won their sixth World Series Championship. The Sox are back on track!
Last year they won the World Series against the Colorado Rockies. They swept the Rockies in four games and solidified themselves as the World Champions. It was a turbulent year for the Sox but with the help of Manny Ramirez and Big Papi along with the brilliant pitching of Josh Beckett, they were able to pull off a great post season performance.
